Fungasil is the first and only topical terbinafine 1% in an alcohol vehicle.
How Used:Liberally brush on affected nails twice a day.
How it works:Terbinafine is a fungicidal lipophylic allyamine that inhibits ergosterol production in cell walls.
Effectiveness:Comparable to oral at 60%-80%.
Treatment:Course is comparable to oral at one year. 3 months for easy, distal, and superficial - 1 year for difficult, confluent and deep.

Does it work if I have nail polish on? * Yes, but not as effectively. Best results are without nail polish for better penetration of Fungasil into the nail bed.
