I've had tinea versicolor for a long time and this stuff has done more to get rid of it than anything the dermatologist gave me, topical or oral. br /br /The tinea shows up on my skin making it more dry and flakey than incredibly off-color, as it does with others. Using Saprox has diminished the dryness/flakiness of my skin substantially, although the skin quality is still not perfect. The itching I felt especially while sweating is gone. br /br /I haven't used Saprox as consistently as I probably should have, so I am going to buy another bottle (I've bought 3 or 4 as is, but I have it over large portions of my body) and keep going for it until it (hopefully) completely disappears. br /br /I give this a 5 because it gives me hope for a cure and has been improving my skin quality, while the steroids the dermatolgist gave me did squat. br /br /

Saprox Natural Antifungal: Effective for: Tinea Versicolor, Mild Nail Funugs, Jockitch, Athlete's Foot Feature

Saprox has a couple main effective applications. One: Nail fungus. Two: Tinea infections such as tinea pedis (athletes foot), tinea versicolor, tinea cruris (jock itch). Clinically, Saprox has treated many patients successfully with tinea infections. For Jock Itch, Athletes Foot or Tinea versicolor: After a shower or cleaning the area, apply Saprox thinly and evenly over the affected fungal area(s). Let dry. Wipe off with a damp rag or in the shower. Repeat daily for 2 weeks. May be used 2 x a day for stubborn infections. For Nail Fungus: There are numerous products out there claiming to remove nail fungus after 7 days or 20 days or so. This is not accurate. It takes time for a product to effectively treat nail fungus and Saprox can do that. Saprox is a natural antifungal mud that kills fungus inhabiting beneath your nails. After about 10 days of treating fingernails or toenails, one will observe healthy nail beginning to grow in at the nail bed. Depending on the severity of the nail fungus, the nail may clear within 3 weeks or 6 months. Daily applications are recommended. Simply apply, let dry and leave on all day. You may cover with a band aide if you like. You may also apply before bed and sleep with it on your nails. Options are endless as long you apply it daily. Enjoy healthy nails once again.

Does not work for Tinea Versicolor - Dontae R. Mahoney - Tokyo, Japan
I used this last year while i battled my worse Tinea outbreak and it did nothing. i actually think my Tinea Versicolor got worse! I really think they should not advertise this as treatment for Tinea Versicolor the mud didn't do anything at all. I applied it for 15-30 minutes a day for two weeks and saw no improvement.

It actually works!!! - Bashert - Seatac, WA US of A
My nail was so bad most of it fell off except one tiney shard, (yes very creepy) I used this once let it sit on my nail for about 30 minutes then wiped off and cleaned and that's all I did over the next month or two my nail grew back in healthy. I suspect if I had used daily it would have worked faster but I was unfortunately super busy at the time and traveling. Definitely worth the money and now I pop on if any nail seems a bit unhappy. Maybe everyone should keep this on had in the house! Vender was excellent also and even in my state!
